Without limiting the AUP, you may not use the Services to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Send spam or operate bulk unsolicited messaging<\/li>\n<li>Host or distribute malware, phishing, or credential harvesting<\/li>\n<li>Operate illegal marketplaces or illegal content distribution<\/li>\n<li>Infringe copyright\/trademark or other intellectual property rights<\/li>\n<li>Engage in hacking, scanning, brute forcing, DDoS, botnets, or exploit delivery<\/li>\n<li>Run cryptocurrency miners on shared hosting (unless explicitly allowed in writing)<\/li>\n<li>Use hosting primarily as a file archive\/backup repository unrelated to a website\/service purpose<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We are the final arbiter of what constitutes prohibited use for platform safety.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"et_pb_section_11 et_pb_section et_section_regular et_block_section\">\n<div class=\"et_pb_row_11 et_pb_row et_block_row\">\n<div class=\"et_pb_column_11 et_pb_column et_pb_column_4_4 et-last-child et_block_column et_pb_css_mix_blend_mode_passthrough\">\n<div class=\"et_pb_heading_13 et_pb_heading et_pb_module et_flex_module\"><div class=\"et_pb_heading_container\"><h1 class=\"et_pb_module_header\">10. Backups<\/h1><\/div><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"et_pb_text_11 et_pb_text et_pb_bg_layout_light et_pb_module et_flex_module\"><div class=\"et_pb_text_inner\"><h3 class=\"western\">10.1 Customer Responsibility<\/h3>\n<p><strong>You are responsible for maintaining your own backups.<\/strong> Backups can fail, be incomplete, or be unavailable due to technical limitations, storage constraints, retention windows, or unexpected events.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"western\">10.2 Courtesy\/Optional Backups<\/h3>\n<p>If we provide backups (courtesy or paid add-on), they are provided <strong>\u201cas-is\u201d<\/strong> and <strong>not guaranteed<\/strong>. You should regularly verify restore integrity.<\/p>\n<p>We may limit or disable backups for accounts that exceed platform thresholds (for example: very large disk usage or unusually high file counts) to protect system performance. If backups are disabled, you may be able to restore eligibility by reducing usage and contacting support.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"western\">10.3 Restoration<\/h3>\n<p>Restores may be limited by retention windows, scope, and feasibility. Domain Names<\/h1><\/div><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"et_pb_text_13 et_pb_text et_pb_bg_layout_light et_pb_module et_flex_module\"><div class=\"et_pb_text_inner\"><h3 class=\"western\">12.1 Domain Services Are Subject to Registry\/Registrar Rules<\/h3>\n<p>Domain registrations, renewals, transfers, and related services are also governed by:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Registry rules for each TLD<\/li>\n<li>ICANN rules (where applicable)<\/li>\n<li>Registrar and dispute policies (including UDRP\/URS where applicable)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>You agree to comply with all such rules.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"western\">12.2 Domain Availability and Registration<\/h3>\n<p>Search results are not a guarantee of availability. A domain is not registered until confirmed by the relevant registrar\/registry.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"western\">12.3 WHOIS Accuracy and Verification<\/h3>\n<p>You must provide accurate registrant contact information and keep it updated. Incorrect information may result in suspension, cancellation, or loss of domain under registry\/registrar rules.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"western\">12.4 Domain Privacy \/ ID Protection<\/h3>\n<p>If offered, domain privacy may not be available for all TLDs and cannot prevent third parties from publishing data previously captured. Domain privacy fees are generally <strong>non-refundable<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"western\">12.5 Domain Renewals and Redemption<\/h3>\n<p>It is your responsibility to ensure domains are renewed before expiry. If a domain expires, it may enter grace\/redemption\/restore phases with <strong>additional fees<\/strong>. If not renewed in time, it may become publicly available and could be registered by someone else.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"et_pb_section_14 et_pb_section et_section_regular et_block_section\">\n<div class=\"et_pb_row_14 et_pb_row et_block_row\">\n<div class=\"et_pb_column_14 et_pb_column et_pb_column_4_4 et-last-child et_block_column et_pb_css_mix_blend_mode_passthrough\">\n<div class=\"et_pb_heading_16 et_pb_heading et_pb_module et_flex_module\"><div class=\"et_pb_heading_container\"><h1 class=\"et_pb_module_header\">13. Migrations may be limited by compatibility, credentials, data size, and complexity. We do not guarantee that all elements will migrate perfectly. Service Availability and Credits (Up-time)<\/h1><\/div><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"et_pb_text_15 et_pb_text et_pb_bg_layout_light et_pb_module et_flex_module\"><div class=\"et_pb_text_inner\"><p>If your plan includes an up-time commitment, we will use commercially reasonable efforts to provide service availability measured monthly.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Service may be considered unavailable<\/strong> if our hosting platform does not respond to external checks. Scheduled maintenance and events outside our reasonable control are excluded.<\/p>\n<p>If you believe you are eligible for a credit, you must request it through your client area or by contacting billing within a reasonable time after the incident. <strong>Domains are not eligible<\/strong> for up-time credits.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"western\">14.1 99.9% Guaranteed Server Availability (Up-time SLA)<\/h2>\n<p><strong>99.9% Monthly Availability.<\/strong> Matrix Domain Hosting (by NAISSCO) guarantees <strong>99.9% server availability<\/strong>, calculated on a <strong>monthly<\/strong> basis (the \u201cUp-time SLA\u201d), for eligible hosting services.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How availability is measured.<\/strong> Services are considered \u201cavailable\u201d if they respond to external network checks (e.g., HTTP and\/or PING) from any <strong>external monitoring services<\/strong>.
